It’s a simplistic, yet powerful form of media used to stay in touch, with friends or family, etc. either for business, or pleasure, as well as personal areas of interest. Next to the META tags, make sure that your index page has good written content that talks about the service or product you are offering or selling. As the index page is the most important page in the eyes of the search engines, make it as appealing as you can. If you have images, do not forget to include alt tags and make them descriptive.

Linking Strategy

Once you have fixed your pages, then it is time for you to link your site to other websites in the internet community. Send articles to the bookmarking sites. You can also advertise your site further by sending articles to different sites and asking them to link back to you.

Just keep on creating back links and after few months you will see your rankings slowly coming up. It is not a quick process, so just have patience and just keep on improving your site.
