What Is Blogging?

Blogging has become very hot recently. Because it’s 100% free! Besides, you don’t need to have any technical skills to get started. If you can read and write, you can blog. So what is a blog? A blog is a simple web page that anyone can set up almost instantly. People can use them as journals, diaries, and sales pages, like you will learn to do here.

Blogs are the newest gift of Internet technology to people all over the world. These are updated posts, crop up entries or personalized life snippets, of mundane or bizarre in nature. For most, a blog is a personal, unedited, and authentic journal meant to be shared in an online community. Blog site is a place where bloggers can publish anything; his thoughts, feelings, photos, special events, experiences, comments on issues and so on. It is more of an online diary with videos, links, documents, newsletters and opinions on just about any topics you are interested.

Free Blogs

You may be wondering how you can make some income with a free blog. One answer is by adding Google Adsense, and promoting affiliate products. You will not make money overnight with this system, but over 2 to 3 months, you will start making some decent money. Remember, the cost for all this is absolutely nothing.

For our purposes, we will be using “Blogger”. Blogger is owned by Google. Blogger blogs are often crawled by the search engines, so you can get indexed very quickly.

Use What You Know

It is always best to try and make money from what you already know about. It is far easier to write about what you know than other things. However, having said that, you can find free content on almost any subject, so you can pick a subject that you think would be profitable, but you don’t really know anything about.
